WiDo Publishing began in 2007 with a family and a company passionate about literature. We sought out promising writers and manuscripts. We believed that combining well-written books, ones with strong stories and memorable characters, with expert editing and compelling artistic design would drive good sales.
And it appears we were right — over 100 books later, WiDo Publishing is still going strong.
Turns out people love a good read, and there are so many fantastic authors working hard and dreaming big. They just need someone to give them a chance.
Our titles run the gamut from childhood memoir and historical fiction to middle-grade fantasy, YA paranormal, women’s contemporary fiction, mystery and suspense. We publish writers from all over the world.
What do our books have in common? A darn good story!
Our team will guide, assist and support you in implementing your marketing goals. Some authors’ strengths are in online promotion, others like to get out and meet people. No one plan works for everyone.
Upon receipt of the signed contract, we assign an editor to work with you to prepare your manuscript for publication, a process that takes anywhere from ten to eighteen months.
As a small, tight-knit organization, WiDo is well-positioned to adjust to the major changes occurring in the publishing industry.

In today’s highly competitive publishing world, WiDo Publishing is leading the charge into hybrid publishing. Under the banner of our new imprint, E. L. Marker, we offer authors the chance to self-fund the editing and publication process.
Our hybrid imprint allows us to get more authors into print while delivering the same quality editing and production the WiDo team has always provided.
Our experienced editing and production team helps you publish a professional and polished book, while cutting down the time waiting to be picked up by a traditional publisher. E. L. Marker delivers higher royalties combined with the prestige and professionalism of a traditional publisher.
Both WiDo and E.L. Marker titles are distributed to bookstores through Ingram and Baker & Taylor. Our books can be found in any bookstore in your area and wherever books are sold.
